We Do What We Want

Jamie and Colleen dare ask the question, "Is there such a thing as podcasting lite?"

[00:00:00] You're listening to the Planner Girl Chatter podcast with your hosts Jamie Marcus Bratcher and Colleen Phelan.

[00:00:07] Grab a fresh cup of coffee and the closest planner, start unboxing your latest Etsy order because it's time for Planner Girl Chatter.

[00:00:16] It feels a little bit nervous in their tummy all of a sudden.

[00:00:19] Oh, it's very scary. Have we done this before?

[00:00:23] I love that you just pulled your mic in closer after you pressed record.

[00:00:28] You were like, and now?

[00:00:30] Just as we quit podcasting, I had bought a new mic.

[00:00:34] And I hope it sounds amazing because I have only used it four times for work recordings.

[00:00:39] And it makes me very sad.

[00:00:43] Well, Jamie, today's the day.

[00:00:46] Today is the day that Jamie gets to use her new podcast mic for fun things like talking to Colleen.

[00:00:53] What?

[00:00:54] It's a funny meeting you here, Jamie.

[00:00:57] It's been quite a minute.

[00:01:00] It's been a minute.

[00:01:02] So for all of you listening, you're probably wondering what in the actual hell is happening.

[00:01:10] And the reality is that Colleen and I have missed recording our conversations and sharing them with the world.

[00:01:19] It's far more interesting that way.

[00:01:21] Why is that, Jamie?

[00:01:23] It's just the two of us on the phone chatting it up.

[00:01:26] And we want to share it a little bit more.

[00:01:29] And we realized that we could just do that.

[00:01:33] Yeah.

[00:01:33] And we don't have to have like a podcast every two weeks to still have a podcast.

[00:01:38] And I think when you design a podcast around angst, which was our interim project between Planner Girl Chatter and Planner Girl Chatter, we, when unangsty, didn't we want a podcast?

[00:01:55] No, no.

[00:01:57] We just, we think that just vibing it out feels better than trying to structure.

[00:02:03] For as much as we like structure, we just want to like vibe it out and enjoy it.

[00:02:08] And so we think that heading into the new year, but every once in a while, we will just drop a little potty cast to you guys.

[00:02:18] Just a little podcast here and there.

[00:02:19] That way it's all potty.

[00:02:21] Like we're going to talk about potty.

[00:02:23] Drop a little podcast here and there out when we're feeling like it and share a little love.

[00:02:29] I feel like there's a lot of people that listen to the podcast that I still talk to kind of regularly.

[00:02:36] So I'm like, this is a good way to give updates.

[00:02:40] Yeah.

[00:02:41] It's much easier.

[00:02:42] It's really efficient if we're being honest, right?

[00:02:44] I mean, it's much more efficient.

[00:02:46] Yeah.

[00:02:47] And we're just making good choices.

[00:02:48] We, we, we have been doing a lot of other things, but we still do have planners.

[00:02:55] I love that you have your planner in your hand as you say it.

[00:02:58] Mine is in my office, but it just, my new planner arrived because the one that I bought for last year, I touched her three times, I think.

[00:03:07] So.

[00:03:08] Really?

[00:03:09] Yeah.

[00:03:10] A waste of resources.

[00:03:12] Oh, I had a catastrophic planner year because, uh, I was going strong the first, like four months of the year.

[00:03:19] And then I dumped an entire cup of coffee in my bucket purse and the coffee went all over my planner.

[00:03:26] And so I really just lost the plot after that.

[00:03:29] I did order another one, but it sat in my purse until I went to a planner event in Austin in September, late September.

[00:03:38] Basically trying to recap the year during the summer.

[00:03:43] In September.

[00:03:44] It was, it was, it was cathartic.

[00:03:46] I would say to be like, why have I not touched my, oh yeah.

[00:03:50] Like every week I flipped and oh yeah.

[00:03:54] That's what happened that week.

[00:03:55] And it felt like almost better to like journal in it and just be like, this was not great.

[00:04:05] That was disappointing.

[00:04:07] I at one point, um, because we went to a planner event, um, a West coast planner event.

[00:04:15] And well, I don't even know February we'll call it.

[00:04:18] Was it February?

[00:04:19] Late to January.

[00:04:20] Oh, well.

[00:04:21] Okay.

[00:04:22] So fairly accurate.

[00:04:23] That was a good recollection of my part.

[00:04:24] And so we got a planner there and mine was undated.

[00:04:29] So at one point I dated it when I started my new job, um, back in April and yeah.

[00:04:40] And then I didn't pull it out.

[00:04:42] Yeah.

[00:04:43] I mean, the good thing is, is that you documented that you started a new job with dates.

[00:04:49] I did.

[00:04:50] I was like, you know what?

[00:04:51] I'm really going to need to know what's happening.

[00:04:53] Let me do this.

[00:04:55] And then I stopped.

[00:04:57] So, but for next year, I definitely need one.

[00:05:01] And so the reality is, is I've got to use a planner because shit's already piling up.

[00:05:07] Oh my gosh.

[00:05:08] I, we're in the middle of a garage project right now.

[00:05:11] We have had the same racks in our garages, like for all the houses for like 15 years.

[00:05:16] And so we're going through all the stuff.

[00:05:18] I mean, we shipped all this crap out from Arizona to Texas.

[00:05:23] And I looked at all of it and I was like, oh my God, half of this is like planner stuff.

[00:05:28] Like, I think I have four bins and two of them are just planner, like old planner dashboards,

[00:05:36] planner covers, like A5 planner covers that I'm just like, I don't even know what I'm

[00:05:41] going to do with all of those because like, this isn't even who I am anymore.

[00:05:46] Right.

[00:05:47] Right.

[00:05:48] Like it's interesting because like, I, so I am very fortunate and I get the week off

[00:05:54] between Christmas and new year's.

[00:05:56] And I was originally like, you know, like really plan a trip.

[00:06:00] I'm going to do something.

[00:06:02] And then I was traveling three out of four weeks in November.

[00:06:04] And I was like, who, who do you think you are?

[00:06:09] So I decided I'm going to work on my office, but really like the crafty side of my office.

[00:06:15] Cause the work side of my office, fine.

[00:06:17] Like there's just not much going on there cause it's all online.

[00:06:21] But in order to use my planner, I need to make my stickers available.

[00:06:26] But the sheer amount of stuff in my closet, like from planner stuff to craft stuff, to Lego

[00:06:36] boxes really needs to be organized.

[00:06:39] So my plan is to explode across the rest of the house and then get it all back in the closet.

[00:06:47] I think that's fantastic.

[00:06:49] Yeah.

[00:06:49] And so I figure a week seems reasonable.

[00:06:54] I can report back.

[00:06:56] Okay.

[00:06:56] I'm in the middle of doing this right now.

[00:06:58] And I can report back that a week is not long enough.

[00:07:02] I, you know, like I just, so tonight before we started recording, I started decorating.

[00:07:10] I want to say two days after Thanksgiving, three days after Thanksgiving.

[00:07:13] And so not, you know, not too long ago, but long ago enough that today I was losing my shit

[00:07:21] because there was still stuff that didn't have a home.

[00:07:24] And I was like, where does this gnome go, Colleen?

[00:07:27] It can't just sit on the counter, Colleen.

[00:07:29] And, um, and that was when I realized, thank God I live alone, uh, because I, it would be

[00:07:37] problematic for anybody else living in this space right now.

[00:07:40] Yeah.

[00:07:40] I, I had actually not decorated for Chris.

[00:07:43] I decorated for Christmas the first year that we moved into this house.

[00:07:47] And then I didn't do that last year.

[00:07:51] And this year I'm not gonna, and I don't know even if I want to.

[00:07:56] So like the neighborhood that I'm looking out the window right now in the neighborhood

[00:07:59] I live in, in Texas, people do these like perfectly spaced Christmas lights, which give the whole

[00:08:05] neighborhood, this very like gingerbread cottage situation going on very uniform.

[00:08:11] I really love it.

[00:08:13] It's too expensive for me to do it on my house.

[00:08:15] So I don't participate, but I really love that.

[00:08:17] Everyone else makes this happen for me.

[00:08:19] Um, but I think I'm just going to not put up like a Christmas tree or anything like

[00:08:24] that going forward because my kids just don't care.

[00:08:27] Kelsey doesn't care.

[00:08:28] And I would rather spend my time doing other stuff.

[00:08:31] At least this is the way I'm feeling about it at the moment.

[00:08:33] And I found this amazing hotel in Dallas called the Adolphus where they make like Christmas

[00:08:38] magic happen.

[00:08:39] And I'm like, I could just go stay up for two days in the Adolphus and make it feel like

[00:08:43] Christmas there.

[00:08:44] Like they have freaking carolers dressed up old timey.

[00:08:46] I mean, yeah, I mean, it's just, it's better.

[00:08:52] And I love the Christmas part, but like just people singing at me, I don't know.

[00:08:56] Well, they're just in the lobby.

[00:08:57] You don't have to see, you can just walk.

[00:08:59] Oh, okay.

[00:08:59] Just enjoy it.

[00:09:00] You know?

[00:09:01] So, so yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do for Christmas going forward.

[00:09:05] I mean, I love a Christmas tree.

[00:09:07] I'll be honest.

[00:09:08] And I, uh, this year got a really expensive topper from Anthropologie.

[00:09:14] That's a freaking globe.

[00:09:17] Ooh.

[00:09:18] It's huge though.

[00:09:19] It's really big.

[00:09:20] And I am so concerned it's going to fall off that I don't.

[00:09:25] Yeah.

[00:09:26] I feel like I'm, I've cursed myself with the fear I have of what will happen to it.

[00:09:31] Cause it's legit glass.

[00:09:32] Like it is a glass globe with lights on the inside.

[00:09:35] And, uh, but damn, does it look good?

[00:09:38] Yeah.

[00:09:38] It looks really good.

[00:09:39] So, but I love, I love Christmas ornaments because I have Christmas ornaments.

[00:09:44] Like I've started collecting them from places I've gone.

[00:09:47] So it's all this like really nice, like it's like memories and celebration.

[00:09:52] Um, okay.

[00:09:53] But if I was doing it for kids, I would be like, you do it your fucking selves.

[00:09:58] Well, and that's really the place that I'm at.

[00:10:00] I'm in what I am calling late stage motherhood.

[00:10:03] Um, similar to the phrase late stage capitalism where I am just like, I don't even

[00:10:08] understand what was happening.

[00:10:09] So Kendra will be 18 next month.

[00:10:11] Um, Zoe is obviously 25 and lives in 26 and lives in another state.

[00:10:15] And so I, a couple of years ago, or we moved into this house, I got sent all the Christmas

[00:10:20] decorations and I went through them and bought nice plastic bins to put them in.

[00:10:24] And I had the kids come and like separate up there, separate out their stuff.

[00:10:28] And I was like, good.

[00:10:29] I can send them each with their Christmas stuff.

[00:10:31] And then I will just start a fresh Christmas tree.

[00:10:33] And then I went into like Joanne's cause our Michaels here sucks.

[00:10:38] I went into Joanne's to go Christmas ornament shopping two years ago because I need to buy

[00:10:43] a new Christmas tree.

[00:10:44] Cause I used to have a tabletop Christmas tree and I need a floor Christmas tree.

[00:10:47] Um, and then I, I just got overwhelmed by the options and I just fully shut down.

[00:10:53] I was like, this is too much decision-making.

[00:10:56] I don't even know what I want for Christmas.

[00:10:59] So I can't be just buying things willy nilly.

[00:11:01] Um, cause now this is going to be my tree if I do this.

[00:11:04] So I'm just putting it off.

[00:11:06] I may do it eventually, but I'm just putting it off.

[00:11:09] So, well, I mean, I think one of the things that hopefully we've learned at this point is

[00:11:15] we shouldn't be doing things just to please other people.

[00:11:18] And, uh, and if you're not doing it, fuck it.

[00:11:22] I thought you were going to say, we need to remember that we're finicky bitches.

[00:11:28] Well, that is true as well.

[00:11:33] I mean, my whole goal really is I want my house to look like Christmas vomited over most of it.

[00:11:41] That's kind of my goal, but I was delayed in ordering, um, my flannel sheets from Target

[00:11:48] for my bed.

[00:11:50] So basically it's just the front half of the house that gets the Christmas treatment.

[00:11:54] And then my bedroom still looks like every other month of the year, which I feel like

[00:12:00] I've kind of given up on that, but there's a lot of Christmas around me.

[00:12:04] Christmas is also like one of those areas where I'm still just like struggling with stuff

[00:12:10] after coming out of the RV, um, where there's like, so we have a lot of empty cabinets here

[00:12:16] at the house still.

[00:12:17] And I like that they're empty, but then there's other areas that are really full.

[00:12:21] Like my craft room is getting really full.

[00:12:23] Um, but I can just close the door.

[00:12:26] It's fine.

[00:12:26] Uh, but there's other areas where I'm just like upgrading things still and like making

[00:12:32] them nicer.

[00:12:32] And, and like holiday decorating is just a category that I just feel like, do I want

[00:12:39] to get into this mix?

[00:12:41] And I just, I haven't been able to bring myself to like do any of that yet.

[00:12:45] So it really is an investment, not only in energy, but also in like the level of decision

[00:12:53] making, if you want to revamp and redo Christmas is like, okay, so what color theme are you

[00:13:00] going to go with?

[00:13:01] Right?

[00:13:01] Like, are you going to go with a color or are you going to go with like Santas or is

[00:13:07] it, you know, like, what are you going to do?

[00:13:09] And then you have to decide.

[00:13:12] And yeah, I mean, I will say like, I feel fortunate that I don't have to think a lot

[00:13:18] about Christmas presents this year.

[00:13:20] Like I'm definitely like my Christmas present list is low, which I'm really stoked about.

[00:13:25] Like you wouldn't think I would be.

[00:13:27] No, that sounds fantastic.

[00:13:28] Nice.

[00:13:30] Yeah.

[00:13:30] It's nice.

[00:13:31] I'm very pleased with like the reality of my life.

[00:13:34] No, it sounds really good.

[00:13:36] The less people you have to buy for the better.

[00:13:38] Uh, we keep whittling the list down and it feels better every year.

[00:13:42] Hey, like, I'm just like, no, they're old enough.

[00:13:45] They can get a joint gift.

[00:13:50] Like, and I mean, I feel like with that, the best part of my Christmas tree is underneath

[00:13:57] it.

[00:13:58] I don't worry about putting gifts.

[00:13:59] It's where Finn likes to take his bones and chew on them.

[00:14:03] He likes to go on the tree skirt and like play with his toys.

[00:14:06] And it's the cutest thing.

[00:14:07] Cause it's to me the equivalent of like when I was a little kid and I would lay under the

[00:14:10] tree and look up.

[00:14:11] Cause that was like one of my favorite things.

[00:14:13] Right.

[00:14:13] And I'm like, Finn's like doing it for me.

[00:14:15] Like my little fur baby.

[00:14:18] I was like, I do.

[00:14:19] I do that for you.

[00:14:20] Yeah.

[00:14:21] Well, we have a little fireplace, which feels like when you get to turn the fireplace on,

[00:14:27] it feels holiday-y after living in Arizona for so long that it's just like, oh, the magic

[00:14:33] is happening.

[00:14:34] Cause the fireplace is on.

[00:14:37] I would just have hot cocoa at that point and be like, it's totally Christmas.

[00:14:40] And it totally is.

[00:14:42] Now that I'm like all old and just like menopausal, I'm like, no, I'm going to sit.

[00:14:49] I'm going to sit with my golden milk latte by the fire.

[00:14:53] Oh, you need that anti-inflammation.

[00:14:57] You know, it's very important.

[00:14:59] Cocoa is not my friend.

[00:15:04] I'm telling you worlds have changed since we first kicked off.

[00:15:10] I feel like, okay.

[00:15:11] So Jamie, when was our last recording?

[00:15:13] Our last recording for Planner Girl Chatter was, um, some like June, 2022.

[00:15:22] Yeah.

[00:15:23] I have too many computers in front of me.

[00:15:25] I know you're.

[00:15:28] I explained to Farika on the podcast that I am in the middle of switching computers and my,

[00:15:36] so I have too many computers happening in front of me right now.

[00:15:43] I like how I'm like, I'm only one and.

[00:15:47] Uh, September 23rd, 2023.

[00:15:52] I, if I was, if I had to answer that, I was thinking that our last podcast episode was 2022.

[00:16:01] Me too.

[00:16:03] It was really 23.

[00:16:05] Wait, was the, wait, was that Planner Girl Chatter?

[00:16:08] Was that the, uh.

[00:16:09] No, that was Planner Girl Chatter.

[00:16:14] Well, I mean, I guess that's been over a year.

[00:16:16] So I guess it just feels like so much longer.

[00:16:21] It does.

[00:16:23] I was thinking it was 2022 was the last time we recorded an episode.

[00:16:27] That's like how much stuff has happened in like the past year.

[00:16:32] I mean, I've been really happy that we've been able to step away from the podcast.

[00:16:37] If I'm being completely honest, because I just needed the time.

[00:16:40] I mean, it was fitting a lot of stuff in.

[00:16:43] It was a little bit overwhelmed still, I think with some of the grief stuff.

[00:16:46] And then there was a lot happening at work and, um, nothing bad, just a lot of shifting

[00:16:53] focus and it needing to be present with different things like Kendra.

[00:16:57] Um, there's just been so much going on with Kendra.

[00:17:01] She's like going to graduate next year.

[00:17:03] So we just had to really focus on getting her like on track and I feel like she's doing

[00:17:08] pretty well.

[00:17:09] In fact, tonight she was the one driving me around while I was running errands.

[00:17:13] Uh, you know, so we have a lot of good things happening, but I just had to have the space

[00:17:18] to focus on that kind of stuff.

[00:17:19] And now that it's slowing down, I really did have the desire to just visit more.

[00:17:27] Jamie's trying to say she misses me.

[00:17:29] I miss Colleen.

[00:17:31] This, this organization helps us actually catch up because otherwise we're not really

[00:17:35] good about just phone calls.

[00:17:37] Like Jamie's good about that with lots of people, but I'm terrible at it.

[00:17:41] And so.

[00:17:42] Well, and now that, now that I'm doing quilting as a hobby, our quilt guild is very active.

[00:17:50] And a lot of the women in our quilt guild are retirees.

[00:17:53] So they text all the time.

[00:17:55] Like I shit you not, I talked to seven or eight guild people just today.

[00:18:01] And like, cause they just message all the time and they want to visit and like the Christmas

[00:18:05] party is next week.

[00:18:06] So they're just like, did you get this done?

[00:18:10] Do you want to do this?

[00:18:11] And then because I bought a long arm, they're like, Hey, can I bring you a quilt to long

[00:18:14] arm?

[00:18:14] And so it's just like their level of involvement is different, you know, in the day to day with

[00:18:21] the quilting gals.

[00:18:23] So, yeah, well, I mean, those are your new like planner girls or your quilting girls.

[00:18:27] Let's be honest.

[00:18:28] Yeah.

[00:18:28] I still have planner gals and I still have planner friends by all means, but, uh, yeah,

[00:18:34] the quilting gals, if you let them, they are, I mean, they're like coastal grandmas.

[00:18:40] And so they will just like come into your life with just such fun things.

[00:18:45] So, well, I mean, I can just imagine, especially cause they're retired.

[00:18:51] There's probably a lot of fun activities that they do because if they're active in the quilt

[00:18:56] guilt, the quilt guild, which also every time you say it, it makes me think of like the wizard

[00:19:01] of Oz and like the, um, the little people.

[00:19:04] I don't even remember what like the song is, but like for some reason it triggers pop

[00:19:10] kids.

[00:19:11] Yeah.

[00:19:12] And I don't know why, why there must be a phrase in there, but it does.

[00:19:14] Oh my God.

[00:19:15] And they're, they're like, when you talk about where you want to be, when you are like retired,

[00:19:21] like being a quilting grandma is where you want to be because they are, they're not only

[00:19:28] a blast, but like their husbands want to go golf and like do their hobbies.

[00:19:32] And so we, like, I went to a quilting retreat right before Thanksgiving and those women like

[00:19:41] go to Florida and buy like really expensive sewing machines as like a hobby while their

[00:19:46] husbands are golfing.

[00:19:47] And I'm like, this sounds fantastic.

[00:19:49] Like I want to be a part of this bougie thing that is happening.

[00:19:54] And some of these women have been friends since they were children and they still just get

[00:19:58] together and have girls weekends.

[00:19:59] And it made me very hopeful for all of us for our future crafting time together.

[00:20:05] And they just do it in the best way, like way better than we're doing it.

[00:20:09] Like I went to this retreat and I'm not even kidding you there.

[00:20:13] It was inexpensive for one, but they cook food for you like three meals a day.

[00:20:20] And no, no, no.

[00:20:22] Like the retreat center that we went to, Oh, okay.

[00:20:24] We cook three meals for you a day and the meals are amazing and completely home cooked meals.

[00:20:32] Not like this hotel garbage that we get when we do these planner conferences and they were

[00:20:38] nutritious.

[00:20:38] They were good.

[00:20:39] They were filling.

[00:20:40] You could just craft all day.

[00:20:42] I just, for all the stuff that we've talked about over the years as planner people, like

[00:20:46] these quilting folks have got it figured out.

[00:20:50] I think they have a few years on us.

[00:20:52] And so I mean, give us a couple decades and just wait and see.

[00:20:57] Oh yeah.

[00:20:58] No, we'll be up.

[00:20:59] We'll, we'll level up as we go along here.

[00:21:05] We just need a little bit more time and sleep.

[00:21:09] Yeah.

[00:21:10] Oh my gosh.

[00:21:10] Yes.

[00:21:11] And that was funny too, was because some of them were early meanies folks like you and

[00:21:17] they were fine to me.

[00:21:18] Of course it's like eight 30 and they're like going to bed.

[00:21:20] And there's other women that were just like, I'm staying up till one.

[00:21:26] Yeah.

[00:21:27] No, I mean, I definitely bet at eight 30 is really ideal.

[00:21:32] It's really the way still always getting earlier and earlier, but I'm still running.

[00:21:38] I'm running around 10 30, you know, it's my average still.

[00:21:41] So when I'm up past 10, it's a, it's a late, late night.

[00:21:45] It's a late, late night.

[00:21:47] I went to, um, to see a movie on Saturday and it started at eight and it ended at 10.

[00:21:59] And that was really hard for me.

[00:22:02] Oh, geez.

[00:22:02] Well, that's usually when we go to see a movie.

[00:22:05] I was like, Ooh, I better take a nap to be able to stay awake for the big Lebowski.

[00:22:15] I gotta be able to stay awake.

[00:22:18] And that's a classic movie.

[00:22:21] I know.

[00:22:22] Yeah.

[00:22:22] So it was shown in town and, um, and I had really bad memories of it.

[00:22:26] So I watched it and it made it better.

[00:22:28] Oh yeah.

[00:22:29] No, it's such a good movie.

[00:22:31] Kelsey and I went one year to this thing they did in LA called Lebowski Fest.

[00:22:36] And people dress up like the big Lebowski characters and they have a costume contest and they play

[00:22:42] the music and people will talk and, um, yeah, it's pretty clever because that's his favorite movie.

[00:22:50] Oh, well, it just, I think tonight is the last night that showing at this, uh, in Tucson,

[00:22:56] we have a place called the loft and they show all different kinds of movies and do singalongs.

[00:23:02] And they're sort of like the equivalent of, um, it's an independent nonprofit movie theater,

[00:23:08] but they show all of like the indie films, but then also cult classics.

[00:23:13] And so you can go see things.

[00:23:14] So, um, I saw that late.

[00:23:18] That sounds late for you.

[00:23:20] I wouldn't expect for you to be out.

[00:23:21] So.

[00:23:23] Yeah.

[00:23:23] No, no, it was, it was hard.

[00:23:26] It was hard.

[00:23:27] And then the, um, yeah, I just had to go to bed as soon as I got home.

[00:23:31] Yeah.

[00:23:32] That makes sense.

[00:23:33] Well, no, I have my planner here.

[00:23:35] I bought a leather planner cover.

[00:23:37] At this.

[00:23:38] I can see that.

[00:23:39] But look at what's on it.

[00:23:42] Or no, it's not, is it?

[00:23:43] It's a B6.

[00:23:45] Is it?

[00:23:45] Do you see what's on it?

[00:23:47] Yeah.

[00:23:48] I see the moon in the mountains.

[00:23:51] Wait, is that ACOTAR?

[00:23:53] Yes.

[00:23:54] Oh, Jesus.

[00:23:55] Oh my God.

[00:23:57] I can't.

[00:23:58] Like, I, I feel like I read ACOTAR so long ago that like the fact that people are sound

[00:24:05] note, like so obsessed now.

[00:24:07] And I was like, I read it.

[00:24:08] But look at it.

[00:24:10] The inside of the planner is like this nice cranberry color.

[00:24:14] And it looks really nice with the green cover.

[00:24:17] It's beautiful.

[00:24:17] It is a beautiful planner.

[00:24:18] You would just think of this as a mountain, you know, you wouldn't know it's Volaris unless

[00:24:23] you're a nerd.

[00:24:24] So.

[00:24:26] You're correct.

[00:24:27] You're correct.

[00:24:28] I wanted to, I miss, I have to tell you that I get like so nostalgic for old planner

[00:24:34] world.

[00:24:34] And I really, I pulled out a Foxy fix to make a pocket notebook recently to like jot notes

[00:24:40] in for quilts and stuff and then put swatches in.

[00:24:43] And so I, I pulled out my old Foxy fix and I had this whole moment where like I restrung

[00:24:48] it because some of the, the cord had gotten and it was just like, Oh, I miss this leather.

[00:24:54] It would.

[00:24:54] And then, so when I went to this planner event and someone had this really nice leather for

[00:24:58] this, this planner cover, I was like, Oh my God, I have to have one of these for next

[00:25:03] year.

[00:25:04] And it's set up like a TN.

[00:25:06] It's like a TN insert.

[00:25:07] It's not like a, but in B6 size.

[00:25:10] And I was like, this is perfect.

[00:25:12] And I was just so excited to have it.

[00:25:14] It brought back so many good memories and it smells good, like good leather, not that plastic

[00:25:20] that has no smell whatsoever.

[00:25:23] And it just made me happy.

[00:25:25] I need to pull out my, yeah, my covers.

[00:25:28] Cause I have them all in the closet.

[00:25:30] And so I just, that's one of the things I've got to work on with my reorganization because

[00:25:35] yeah, I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling next year.

[00:25:38] So I'm like, I need to probably get back to using a TN as an actual traveling notebook.

[00:25:44] Or something.

[00:25:45] I went as far as buying a matching pen for my planner.

[00:25:51] So I can't.

[00:25:53] Yeah.

[00:25:54] I'm very.

[00:25:55] I love.

[00:25:57] You are.

[00:25:58] I mean, but you know, what's interesting is I must note that you've moved away from your

[00:26:02] pastel joy.

[00:26:05] Oh, well inside the planner is pastelly.

[00:26:09] Okay.

[00:26:09] I was going to say, cause the fact that it's maroon and green right now is throwing me off

[00:26:15] a little bit.

[00:26:15] I mean, it's still pretty pastel inside.

[00:26:18] I'm still really liking the neutrals.

[00:26:20] Um, in September, when I went to that planner event in Austin, I, I even went as far as

[00:26:25] to go to the Aaron Condren store.

[00:26:27] And I, I have to say that it was a pretty disappointing experience when being honest.

[00:26:33] Why?

[00:26:34] There just was nothing new in there.

[00:26:37] And it felt like the same old, same old, like with Aaron Condren, there wasn't anything

[00:26:43] innovative in it.

[00:26:44] And, you know, for as big of a company as it is, it just, it really lacked like the personality

[00:26:49] to like, I went to the Austin store when it first opened.

[00:26:53] And the thing that was cool about it was there was like planner girls on the, you know, wall

[00:26:58] and you could flip through their planners and, you know, you could just kind of see what this

[00:27:04] looked like.

[00:27:05] And it's still like the store is the same, but it just didn't have like the soul in it

[00:27:11] that it did when I first went and it was kind of, it made me a little bit sad to be

[00:27:16] there.

[00:27:17] And, um, I really tried to convince myself that I needed a planner from that store, but

[00:27:24] for as much as Aaron Condren is customizable, they still haven't gotten to that place where

[00:27:29] happy planner is where you can like mix and match inserts, like to make it truly customizable,

[00:27:35] which is insane because just pieces, I don't understand why they went into that.

[00:27:39] Um, and so I had found, I had really thought that maybe I should move to like a monthly,

[00:27:45] uh, you know, with a week on one page.

[00:27:49] Cause I really don't have a lot of, I don't have like that level of stuff going on where

[00:27:54] I need a really fancy planner.

[00:27:57] And I thought maybe I could get away with a big planner if it was just simpler and it

[00:28:01] had just like a monthly, like maybe I'm ready to go to a monthly, but all the monthlies that

[00:28:05] they have just didn't, they didn't do it for me.

[00:28:08] And so, and then the covers were just, everything was just like a very muddy color.

[00:28:14] And the designs were just, I mean, there's so much happening and there's still so much

[00:28:20] creativity that I see in the world and on Instagram still, there's a lot of stuff.

[00:28:25] I think I've gone out of my way to look at new things, like things differently because

[00:28:30] my feed and the stuff I was seeing just looks so the same that I can just really have unfollowed

[00:28:37] people and followed people and gone out and actively searched for new people to inspire

[00:28:42] me.

[00:28:43] And as I've done that, I was just like, there is nothing new here in this store.

[00:28:47] And this used to be the center of innovation.

[00:28:51] Well, I mean, so I just got my planner in the mail yesterday and I decided to go with, um,

[00:28:58] a lights planner action.

[00:29:00] Thank you best for your magic.

[00:29:02] And I got the Kim layout, uh, mainly because I was like, I need something, the little bit

[00:29:08] of flexibility, but every week I need to like lay out my schedule just so that I can see

[00:29:12] when I have time to do stuff.

[00:29:14] Yeah.

[00:29:15] Not much more in my planner.

[00:29:16] Like I just need to have like sort of the broad strokes and then I use separate notebooks

[00:29:20] for projects.

[00:29:21] And so, so that seemed like a really good layout because it has a to-do list section, which

[00:29:26] is I think one area I'm missing on my current weekly calendar that I'm using.

[00:29:31] That is actually from an advent calendar that you talked me into like two or three years ago.

[00:29:40] It was the one that like, they did a bunch of, um, oh my gosh, it was, there's a lot of

[00:29:46] foiled stuff in it.

[00:29:48] Oh yeah.

[00:29:49] I remember that one.

[00:29:51] Yeah.

[00:29:51] I can't remember even the name of the store right now.

[00:29:54] I don't even know if she's still in business anymore.

[00:29:56] Yeah.

[00:29:57] But I was using like, it was like one of the, uh, gifts was a, like a pad of weekly calendars

[00:30:04] where it's like, you know, so you can write like, and it's just a little pad.

[00:30:07] And I've been using that actually most consistently because that way I can like map out my next week

[00:30:12] and I don't need to usually do more than that.

[00:30:14] And I was like, oh, I could probably get a planner and do this.

[00:30:18] That might be, that might be effective, Colleen.

[00:30:21] Like maybe you could think about a planner so you can reflect back, you know?

[00:30:28] And so Jamie, I'm doing it.

[00:30:32] I'm going back in.

[00:30:33] And I think I'm going to, when I do my arranging of the desk, I'm going to have my planner stickers

[00:30:38] so that I can start, you know, doing some reflections at the end of the day.

[00:30:43] What size planner is it?

[00:30:46] B6, baby.

[00:30:47] You know, it's a B6.

[00:30:48] Good.

[00:30:49] I didn't know.

[00:30:50] I didn't know if you thought you needed some bigger.

[00:30:53] So, well, it's because I want to travel with it because, because I have to do a lot of work

[00:30:57] travel.

[00:30:58] I need to have like the big projects laid out.

[00:31:03] And so I have a big calendar, which is great if I'm home, but really not effective when I'm

[00:31:08] not home.

[00:31:09] And so I really need a year view on two pages where I can have like highlighted stuff for

[00:31:15] like projects I'm working on and that kind of thing.

[00:31:17] So I need that.

[00:31:18] And then what the fuck is happening this week?

[00:31:21] Does it fit like the EC boxes on the pages?

[00:31:26] Like in columns?

[00:31:29] Yeah.

[00:31:29] The width does.

[00:31:31] I think.

[00:31:32] I'm pretty sure.

[00:31:32] I feel like I used it last time.

[00:31:34] So, because I'm not really, I'm going to use the kits I've got because I've got them.

[00:31:40] But I'm not buying new kits or anything like that.

[00:31:44] Like, I mean, if we're being honest, if CJ from More Avenue opens up, I'll probably keep

[00:31:50] buying.

[00:31:51] Like I buy from her pretty much every time she reopens and does like a little pop-up shop.

[00:31:56] But outside of that, I feel like I am so over abundant with my options still.

[00:32:05] Like I have so many stickers still.

[00:32:07] Yeah.

[00:32:07] I've been still really in the highlighting like different areas and then putting a sticker

[00:32:13] down for that.

[00:32:14] Um, I switched over, I don't know, a long time ago.

[00:32:18] I don't even remember how long ago, but I switched over to the Bubba Bear like, uh, discs

[00:32:24] for all my sticker storage.

[00:32:26] And so I figured out that when I am traveling and even at my desk, I can just take one.

[00:32:31] I have like three different sizes of sticker, paper holder or whatever inside.

[00:32:38] Yeah.

[00:32:38] And so I just have like one book at this point in time that I pull out and just put stickers

[00:32:43] down for the regular stuff that I'm doing.

[00:32:45] And then I have still an abundance of stickers.

[00:32:47] It's, it's still just one box of it.

[00:32:50] Um, but it's down to that point where I can just refill like as I get empty.

[00:32:56] And so I've emptied a good amount of stickers this year by doing that weekend.

[00:33:02] I was just like, get rid of that.

[00:33:05] And I got a new sticker book though.

[00:33:10] In September, the, the paper craft pantry.

[00:33:15] I think that's what it's called.

[00:33:17] Hold on.

[00:33:17] I have a sticker.

[00:33:18] I have a sticker for that.

[00:33:21] Oh, it's the paper and craft pantry in Austin.

[00:33:25] Did this really nice sticker book.

[00:33:27] Oh, that's really nice size.

[00:33:29] It's big.

[00:33:30] Yeah.

[00:33:30] It's a good size.

[00:33:31] It's about the size of the B6.

[00:33:33] Like, I mean, it's a, it's a little bit bigger, but okay.

[00:33:37] Okay.

[00:33:37] Yeah.

[00:33:38] I can carry them together along with the Bubba bear like disc thing.

[00:33:42] And so it makes for a nice little travel bundle.

[00:33:45] And I found a bag from, uh, no teak that it all fits in.

[00:33:50] So it's pretty compact and I can just take it with me when I'm going somewhere and it makes

[00:33:56] me feel plenary still.

[00:33:59] I, yeah, I feel like I have to get prepared for going to Japan because I'm like, I need

[00:34:07] a whole suitcase just for stationary and buy things.

[00:34:11] But, uh, I feel like I need to start doing research of what I actually need so that I

[00:34:17] can buy all the pens.

[00:34:18] I mean, it's really the pens for me where it's just, what do I actually want to buy?

[00:34:23] Cause they've got to be so much cheaper there.

[00:34:25] Yeah.

[00:34:26] Yeah.

[00:34:26] Well, and then you have to have a plan.

[00:34:27] Like you do have to have a plan for that.

[00:34:29] Like when we went to Austin, our plan, Mary Beth and I, our plan was that we were going

[00:34:34] to do like an old school planner weekend and just like see how many stationary stores we

[00:34:38] could hit.

[00:34:39] And so I looked up all the ones that we wanted to go to the ones I've been following on

[00:34:43] Instagram and stuff that I wanted to hit up.

[00:34:46] And so we built like a whole path from Aaron Contran, like down the road on the way back

[00:34:50] to the hotel.

[00:34:51] Cause we were in South Austin and I was like, I can't believe that we used to do this all

[00:34:55] the time.

[00:34:56] Cause I'm first of all exhausted.

[00:34:58] Um, and then by the end there was just, again, like there's just not a lot of newness

[00:35:03] and variety.

[00:35:04] Um, we went to like the paper, paper and craft pantry.

[00:35:08] It was nice, but we had already been to two or three stores and I wish we would have started

[00:35:13] there.

[00:35:14] Um, because they had a lot of unique things, but I think I ended up, I actually just bought

[00:35:21] some card storage because, because I haven't needed as much planner stuff.

[00:35:27] I've been filling in by buying cards.

[00:35:30] Um, and so I have a really good collection of cards to mail out to people for events and

[00:35:37] things like that, like birthdays and, and I just am buying them and not sending them.

[00:35:42] And so I bought an organization thing so that I can go through them.

[00:35:45] Um, cause that's what I've been buying in lieu of like planners.

[00:35:49] That's your replacement planner stuff is greeting cards, greeting cards.

[00:35:54] So expect a greeting, more greeting cards.

[00:35:57] I love a greeting card.

[00:35:59] I mean, it's, it's funny because you've been buying completed ones and I've been buying kits

[00:36:04] to make them and not making them.

[00:36:07] So that's the other thing is that I literally have probably almost 16 or 17 card kits that

[00:36:17] are different months that like I've made maybe two of the months.

[00:36:23] And so the absurdity is not lost on me.

[00:36:26] It's not lost on me, but I, because I am so disorganized in my craft space, I don't have

[00:36:33] the room.

[00:36:34] And so I need the room.

[00:36:35] So it's like this, you know, like self-fulfilling prophecy of like, well, you keep buying things.

[00:36:39] So there's not going to be more room if you don't use the things you've already bought.

[00:36:43] So I did cancel that subscription from graphic 45.

[00:36:47] If anybody curious, um, so that I can make all those cards and actually mail them to people

[00:36:55] because for the love, like, I mean, like I was like, okay, I really need to do the Christmas

[00:37:00] cards.

[00:37:02] Yeah.

[00:37:02] Ask me, have I started the Christmas cards?

[00:37:05] No, you haven't.

[00:37:07] I definitely.

[00:37:07] I actually gathered up as part of, okay.

[00:37:10] So I bought a long arm.

[00:37:12] It's 10 feet long, very expensive thing for quilting.

[00:37:15] And you can explain what a long arm is.

[00:37:17] Cause most people, that makes me think of like a shotgun, which I don't.

[00:37:21] A long arm is basically the easiest way to quilt a quilt.

[00:37:26] And so I'm going to quilt quilts for other people, but like, cause there's like piecing

[00:37:31] a top, which just means like sewing all the fabric together.

[00:37:34] So it looks nice on the top, but then you have to make like the quilt sandwich and then

[00:37:39] quilt it.

[00:37:39] And so you can do that on a, your regular sewing machine, which sucks, or you can send

[00:37:44] it to a long armor.

[00:37:46] So I've been sending mine to a long armor or go renting time at a long arm studio to long

[00:37:51] arm the quilts and finish them.

[00:37:53] And I decided that I was just going to bite the bullet and buy a long arm, but it's 10 feet

[00:37:59] just to frame it for you.

[00:38:00] It's 10 and a half feet long, six feet deep.

[00:38:04] So I had to rearrange.

[00:38:05] I had to take everything out of my craft room and then, and, and now I'm trying to put it

[00:38:11] all back and I want to keep as much crafting space as possible for sewing and piecing quilt

[00:38:17] tops, but then the long arm has to have its space.

[00:38:20] So I had to re I had to like re discombobulate all of my things.

[00:38:25] And so keep in mind, I do paper crafting.

[00:38:28] I do beading.

[00:38:30] I have some of Kendra's like Kendra has gotten into embroidery, like hand embroidery and then

[00:38:36] button make like she makes buttons.

[00:38:38] And so I have all of her craft stuff in my room.

[00:38:42] And then I have like 400 quilts things that I think I'm making now.

[00:38:46] So, um, so I just, I've had to redo the whole room altogether.

[00:38:51] And as I was going through it, I was like, I still have a lot of stuff to make like cards

[00:38:57] and stickers.

[00:38:59] And like, I need to figure out what I'm going to do with all of this stuff, um, because it's

[00:39:04] now just going to take up a lot of space.

[00:39:06] And so, um, I've been spending obviously way more of my time quilting than doing anything

[00:39:11] else when I have the creative time to do it.

[00:39:14] And I'm really enjoying it.

[00:39:16] So I'm not going to slow down on it, but I still look at the planning stuff and I'm like,

[00:39:20] I just really enjoy doing it.

[00:39:22] So I need to keep, I'm trying to keep one of the desk areas just for computer stuff.

[00:39:27] And then just quick planning.

[00:39:29] Cause I think I'm a quicker planner now more than anything.

[00:39:33] Um, because I, I mean, I just don't have that much going on, but I still look at the

[00:39:38] planning stuff a lot.

[00:39:39] Like there's this, my debate with myself right now is that at the end of April in Houston,

[00:39:45] there's something called the little craft fest, which is happening.

[00:39:48] And it's like a bunch of small stationary shops doing like a big event with the little

[00:39:57] craft place, um, down in Houston.

[00:40:00] And so my debate with myself is like, do I want to go down to do that and do the Korean spa

[00:40:06] and have a nice booty weekend down there?

[00:40:11] So here's my question though, because this is relevant to my life.

[00:40:15] Um, how far is Houston and are there stationary stores just available anytime?

[00:40:22] Oh yeah.

[00:40:23] No, there are.

[00:40:25] I'm going to Houston January for a day.

[00:40:29] Three and a half hours from me.

[00:40:30] And I would gladly drive down to see you.

[00:40:32] I like, this is how plans are made.

[00:40:34] Period.

[00:40:35] This is it.

[00:40:36] We'll cut this out of the podcast so nobody knows where we are or release it after.

[00:40:40] Did you buy anything for Black Friday?

[00:40:43] I bought like nothing on Black Friday.

[00:40:48] I did buy some things on Black Friday, but it's because it's when I buy from Aveda to update.

[00:40:55] Like I always get like my basically year of shampoo that day because they always have these

[00:40:59] like little gifts that are so extra that then it like covers, um, cause I like to rotate

[00:41:04] my shampoos.

[00:41:06] Um, and then I, because I've got this travel coming up.

[00:41:10] One of the challenges I've had is with my ear pods is when they die, what am I supposed

[00:41:16] to do?

[00:41:17] Yeah.

[00:41:18] I bought a second pair of AirPods.

[00:41:20] Oh.

[00:41:21] Yeah.

[00:41:22] Um, because the other alternative was like, I've got an over the head set, but it takes up

[00:41:28] so much space.

[00:41:29] And when I'm like trying to conserve space, I'd rather just have two sets of ear pods.

[00:41:32] Yeah.

[00:41:33] It just makes more sense to me, I think.

[00:41:35] Um, we'll see right now it makes sense.

[00:41:37] It may not make sense after I have them.

[00:41:40] Um, what else do I do for Black Friday?

[00:41:42] Oh, I bought my Legos.

[00:41:45] Nice.

[00:41:46] What's the Lego?

[00:41:48] Tell me about the Legos.

[00:41:49] That's okay.

[00:41:50] So I enjoy building Legos, Jamie.

[00:41:53] This is something that I've come to appreciate about myself, but I don't actually want to

[00:41:58] have Legos out in my house because I'm an adult.

[00:42:01] Yeah.

[00:42:01] And I don't really feel like it's the decor that really screams who I am because it's more

[00:42:06] of just like a relaxing hobby.

[00:42:08] So I bought a Christmas Lego set that I can build for Christmas and then take apart.

[00:42:14] And then each Christmas I can build it as a, uh, a fun thing.

[00:42:19] So I got main street.

[00:42:20] I don't know.

[00:42:21] It's three houses and it's like 1500 feet.

[00:42:25] I don't know what I was thinking.

[00:42:27] Um, but I think it's going to be really fun.

[00:42:29] It feels like you can put that together and display it.

[00:42:31] And then you can like destroy the village after Christmas and just start over.

[00:42:37] Yeah.

[00:42:38] So that's the plan.

[00:42:39] It's like, I'll build it every year.

[00:42:40] I'll build the little people every year.

[00:42:42] And then, um, I get the fun of building it and don't have to dust it, which is really

[00:42:49] what it comes down to.

[00:42:50] Yeah.

[00:42:52] So I was thinking about a couple of years ago when we were talking in Arizona about when

[00:42:58] I was living in Arizona and we did a podcast years and years ago, and we talked about dusting

[00:43:03] and how we dusted like every two weeks or every week in Arizona.

[00:43:07] It was like something ridiculous that we were putting down stickers for.

[00:43:10] And I was thinking about that the other day because I had asked Kendra to dust the baseboards

[00:43:15] for the first time since we moved into this house.

[00:43:17] And I'm just like, it is so, I was explaining to my neighbor, like, you don't understand.

[00:43:22] We used to dust in Arizona all the time in here.

[00:43:25] I like never dust.

[00:43:26] It's not dusty here in that way.

[00:43:29] And they're like, oh, I think it's so dusty here.

[00:43:31] And like, you have never lived in Arizona.

[00:43:35] Like as soon as you dust, it's dusty again.

[00:43:38] Like it literally makes me insane.

[00:43:40] Like when I dust, it makes me like, oh, it made me think about the rage that people had

[00:43:46] when we did that episode that did not live in Arizona in the Facebook group.

[00:43:50] And they just got so mad.

[00:43:54] Oh, dusting.

[00:43:55] Yeah.

[00:43:56] Yeah.

[00:43:56] And still, I mean, it's still like, that's my biggest issue is like, even with my plants,

[00:44:00] I'm like, oh, do I need to dust them?

[00:44:03] Do I need to dust them?

[00:44:04] Probably I need to dust them.

[00:44:05] But like, I'm counting on my amazing lady who comes in and cleans my house once a month

[00:44:11] for all of that.

[00:44:12] Like, I'm like, I can manage some basic adulting things, but I need for you to be the adult

[00:44:16] when it comes to house cleaning.

[00:44:18] And I still am using the gloves that you made fun of me for buying.

[00:44:22] I bought these gloves that I dust them with.

[00:44:26] And it just makes me so happy.

[00:44:28] That is one thing that gets like a lot of dust, it feels like, is the plants.

[00:44:32] So yeah, probably.

[00:44:34] But my plants are like a jungle and I'm really loving them still so much.

[00:44:40] So.

[00:44:41] Mine are, you know, I have, let's see, one, two, I've got like five plants that are living.

[00:44:48] I think I have like 30.

[00:44:50] Well, whatever.

[00:44:51] But I, I have to work and I'm a single dog mom.

[00:44:56] Okay.

[00:44:56] So like, I'm really busy with that.

[00:45:01] Oh my God.

[00:45:01] Well, wait, did you, okay.

[00:45:04] I really wanted to tell people about this because I think it's hilarious.

[00:45:07] I got my Spotify wrapped the other day.

[00:45:11] It's a hard question.

[00:45:12] And I told you, I was really excited and wanted to tell you about it.

[00:45:18] I've had a crazy year, right?

[00:45:20] It has been wild.

[00:45:22] The nonprofit I work for has had all this crazy stuff going on.

[00:45:26] It's been very dramatic.

[00:45:27] And I was laughing when I got my Spotify wrapped because it said, you've had a lot of changes

[00:45:35] this year, which I think is what it says to everybody.

[00:45:38] But it named all of my, like basically eras for the year.

[00:45:46] I need you to hear them because they are making me laugh so hard.

[00:45:51] So it basically told me that in January I was chill beats lo-fi and that was my lo-fi

[00:45:59] beats era.

[00:46:00] Like I was just listening to lo-fi beats all the time.

[00:46:05] August.

[00:46:08] It says that it is my, oh, excuse me.

[00:46:11] It's not August.

[00:46:12] It's June.

[00:46:13] In June, I entered my coastal grandmother, old school soul Motown era.

[00:46:23] What were you listening to?

[00:46:25] What does, what is that?

[00:46:27] I listened to this.

[00:46:28] I watched this documentary called 1970, like the music of 1971, I think it was.

[00:46:33] And it was really talking about like all the revolution that was happening and protests

[00:46:39] that were happening and the activism.

[00:46:40] And they talked about how the music, the music that influenced all of those movements and

[00:46:46] supported them.

[00:46:47] I got the playlist after I listened to the doc, watched the documentary.

[00:46:51] I started listening to the playlist and it was all this really cool music.

[00:46:55] And so apparently that put me in my coastal grandmother era, but then in September, uh,

[00:47:03] I had been paying attention to Austin city limits.

[00:47:06] And I all summer, I had kind of been listening to like Sabrina Carpenter, but then I got

[00:47:12] Sabrina Carpenter has brought me life this month.

[00:47:14] Oh my God.

[00:47:15] I love her so much.

[00:47:16] But then I use Alanis Morissette on sugar, like 1994 Alanis Morissette on sugar.

[00:47:21] And it is life for me.

[00:47:23] Like no, I love that song in my car.

[00:47:27] And I'm like, you will taste me when you kiss him.

[00:47:31] All of her lyrics are insanely clever.

[00:47:34] Like I know that she's a Disney kid and she's like 20 years younger than me, but the lyrics

[00:47:39] on her songs are so good.

[00:47:41] Like we needed that album.

[00:47:43] It is so good.

[00:47:45] But then also Chapel Roan.

[00:47:47] And so yeah, Chapel Roan.

[00:47:49] I mean, I mean, so Sabrina Carpenter and Chapel Roan.

[00:47:54] And I got really obsessed with it beginning in September and it has carried on.

[00:47:59] Um, I'm listening to these music nearly daily at this point in time, just like on repeat.

[00:48:03] Like, I don't know what's wrong with me.

[00:48:05] Those two.

[00:48:05] Yeah.

[00:48:06] Those two women have really served this year.

[00:48:09] Like I'll tell you my, but you have to listen to what Spotify called me because of this decision

[00:48:18] to listen to a lot of this music, pink Pilates, princess strut pop.

[00:48:33] And I'm not mad about it.

[00:48:34] I mean, I'm not mad about it.

[00:48:37] And I just, I mean, you know, and, and somehow this year I was, when I was using Spotify,

[00:48:44] I was turning DJ on and I don't know what the algorithm is in that, but it's just plays

[00:48:50] whatever they, it thinks you listen to a lot.

[00:48:53] And the song that would play almost every time was Holland Oates, Rich Girl, which I love

[00:48:59] Holland Oates and I love Rich Girl, but it had it as my top song.

[00:49:03] And I was so disappointed because it's really disappointing.

[00:49:09] There was, I feel like I've listened to a lot of Fleetwood Mac, a lot of Sabrina Carpenter

[00:49:14] and a lot of Chapel Rowan and none of them made my top five.

[00:49:17] And I was just so sad about it.

[00:49:20] Well, so after you mentioned yours, I was like, so I use Apple music, uh, because they

[00:49:26] pay their, uh, songwriters better.

[00:49:28] Uh, just so Spotify's notes.

[00:49:31] Um, so that's weird, but I'm deep in.

[00:49:34] I get it.

[00:49:35] I get it.

[00:49:35] I got out when I found out this was me to transition.

[00:49:39] Well, that was like five or six years ago.

[00:49:42] So I get it.

[00:49:42] I get the investment.

[00:49:43] So, but now I've got Apple music.

[00:49:45] So I was like, let me check out what Apple music has to say.

[00:49:48] And when I say that after my hysterectomy, I basically played tortured poets department

[00:50:02] during work and I just didn't change it.

[00:50:06] So my entire year in review is basically Taylor Swift.

[00:50:12] And, and look, she really did rock the world.

[00:50:17] She dominated.

[00:50:18] She dominated.

[00:50:18] And I do, but I would love to see like, okay, if we pull out Tay Tay, what else did I listen

[00:50:24] to?

[00:50:24] Because I know I was listening to other things.

[00:50:26] Cause like, there's other things that pop up, but, but if you, so like the way that

[00:50:32] the Apple music one is, is it, it does, it's not quite the equivalent.

[00:50:35] It's not as precise.

[00:50:37] No, but it's basically Apple.

[00:50:39] It's frankly disappointing.

[00:50:41] If I'm being honest.

[00:50:42] Because Kelsey was.

[00:50:42] I mean, based on what Apple can do.

[00:50:44] Yeah.

[00:50:44] I mean, based on the slideshows it creates from pictures I took 20 years ago, like, I feel

[00:50:49] like it could do more.

[00:50:50] If they know what they're doing, they just need to apply that to this music rap.

[00:50:54] And then I would convert, but like their stats are not great.

[00:50:59] No.

[00:51:00] It's so basically the first song on that album is, and I'm like, that's not even my favorite

[00:51:06] song on the album.

[00:51:07] Like when I listened to that album, I play consistently the song about being a badass, but

[00:51:16] crying.

[00:51:17] I like, I can do it while I'm crying that, that, that was that song.

[00:51:20] Yes.

[00:51:21] That that's an anthem.

[00:51:24] And so.

[00:51:29] So I was really disappointed when that wasn't my number one song when I'm like, but it's

[00:51:32] because legitimately probably for two months I would just like throw music on while I was

[00:51:38] learning my new job and I wasn't really paying attention.

[00:51:40] So I didn't put on playlists.

[00:51:42] I put on just that album and it just played constantly.

[00:51:47] And so now it looks like that's all I've listened to for a year.

[00:51:49] And I'm like, damn it.

[00:51:51] But I learned other musicians.

[00:51:55] I know.

[00:51:56] More concerted.

[00:51:58] I've been, I listened to, listened this year to a lot, a lot of lo-fi girl.

[00:52:05] And I really have discovered lo-fi beats and it just makes me so happy.

[00:52:11] I can't express it.

[00:52:12] But there's a bunch of these that take like nineties music that we enjoyed and made them

[00:52:17] lo-fi or like yacht Rocky.

[00:52:19] And there's a new documentary about the yacht rock era, which I really want to go watch.

[00:52:24] I just haven't had time.

[00:52:25] So the yacht rock thing, one of the, I met a guy while online dating who was really into

[00:52:31] yacht rock.

[00:52:31] And that was literally the only thing he could talk about.

[00:52:33] So it didn't last long, but yacht rock, that will always be him for me.

[00:52:40] Um, I don't even know what his name was.

[00:52:42] It never went on a date with him.

[00:52:43] Important to note.

[00:52:44] But my massage therapist plays acoustic covers sometimes when I'm getting a massage.

[00:52:52] That's my new favorite thing is massage is like acoustic covers.

[00:52:57] Yeah.

[00:52:57] Um, and it's giving, there's this one musician that I'm going to have to find because I feel

[00:53:04] like everybody needs to listen to them because they literally have the best, the best covers.

[00:53:10] Well, and I will just say, I've been listening to a lot of, a lot more native, like a native

[00:53:18] artists and, um, Tia Wood released a album called Dirt Roads and that's the main song.

[00:53:26] And that song has just been so good.

[00:53:29] And it did make my top five, which I was surprised.

[00:53:32] Like good.

[00:53:34] I was happy.

[00:53:35] It was like good.

[00:53:36] Yeah.

[00:53:37] So this, so this group, I would encourage you to look up is Willow Bay one word.

[00:53:42] Okay.

[00:53:43] And they have the best acoustic chill covers, like, like painted love slow.

[00:53:49] Like I I'm telling you it's gold.

[00:53:51] It's gold.

[00:53:53] And so it's, it's, so it's funny that you went for this low five beats, but it's the same

[00:53:57] shit.

[00:53:58] We're going for our old music from the nineties, but relax so we can work to it.

[00:54:03] That's what I want.

[00:54:04] That's what I want.

[00:54:05] I just, I don't want word.

[00:54:07] Kelsey said, Kelsey was teasing me at some point in the year.

[00:54:10] And he was like, cause we were, he's listened.

[00:54:12] He found his band called Delicate Steve and they have like some nice music like that,

[00:54:17] that.

[00:54:18] And so we were, he was like, Jamie just doesn't like songs with words.

[00:54:22] That's what he's been telling people.

[00:54:23] And I was like, no, it's that I like you so much that we're riding in the car.

[00:54:27] I want to talk to you.

[00:54:29] And the words just get in the way.

[00:54:31] It's too distracting now.

[00:54:33] And so we've reached that point in time.

[00:54:36] So I was like, I just need chill music to have a nice visit with you in the car.

[00:54:40] And I can't also have music playing at this point in my life.

[00:54:45] It's funny because in the car it's singing music.

[00:54:48] And usually at home it's acoustic chill kind of stuff.

[00:54:53] But sometimes when I want to sing, my little, little Finn does not appreciate music and will

[00:55:01] hide in the corner.

[00:55:01] But I think it's because my dog sitter, I think she like bumps some like reggaeton.

[00:55:06] And so I think he just doesn't know what to do with it because I'm so boring comparatively.

[00:55:11] You're not boring.

[00:55:13] I mean, musically, I'm a lot less beat filled.

[00:55:17] Yeah.

[00:55:17] I would say that's a good thing.

[00:55:20] At this age, there's too much noise in the world.

[00:55:24] I need some quiet when I'm home.

[00:55:25] We're just trying to create some quiet and some enjoyable ambiance.

[00:55:30] We ain't trying to like rock out.

[00:55:33] So.

[00:55:34] Oh, I don't know.

[00:55:36] Nah, nah.

[00:55:38] Well, Jamie, you mentioned that you got your new planner, but you didn't say what kind

[00:55:45] you're using for next year.

[00:55:46] Oh.

[00:55:47] I think I know based on the fact that I saw it, but I still feel like I should let you

[00:55:51] say it to other people.

[00:55:52] So I'm happy to say that I am going into my third year using the same planner.

[00:55:57] I'm using a Sterling Inc.

[00:56:00] B6 planner, the weekly.

[00:56:02] It's nice because it's compacted.

[00:56:04] And so I don't feel like I have to fill up as much space.

[00:56:07] And then there's a lot of space in the back for writing notes.

[00:56:10] And I'm going to be honest, I haven't filled up the notes portion anywhere near what it

[00:56:19] should be in any of the three years that I've used this planner.

[00:56:22] But I have really liked it.

[00:56:24] I had tried it any.

[00:56:25] So it has like the Tomo River paper, which I go back and forth on liking.

[00:56:32] But I think I think I like it enough.

[00:56:34] I mean, I've used it for three years now and I'm sticking with it.

[00:56:37] I just I don't need anything fancier than that.

[00:56:41] I mean, I'm just not I don't have I have a lot of stuff going on, but I do have to admit

[00:56:47] that there's a lot of stuff happening in my Google calendar now.

[00:56:50] And now that we are being I just I don't need it.

[00:56:55] And there's less kids activities.

[00:56:56] I'm not mad at all.

[00:56:58] I mean, like it's super important.

[00:57:00] I'm not mad at all about life just slowing down and having less.

[00:57:05] It's like for as much as I have less to manage, there's also a lot to manage.

[00:57:10] And so it's repetitious kind of stuff.

[00:57:13] I feel like you're doing now because you've got like.

[00:57:16] Yeah.

[00:57:17] Big regular activities and things like that.

[00:57:19] And so it's a different.

[00:57:22] Yeah, it's just the pace is way different.

[00:57:24] And I something that I do realize is that I just I still just really haven't settled into

[00:57:30] a routine in, you know, here as well.

[00:57:33] Like there's a routine amount of stuff that happens, but I just am still not.

[00:57:38] You know, I still have not hit my stride when it comes to like getting all the stuff checked

[00:57:45] off that I really need to do.

[00:57:46] Like, I really need to be walking every day.

[00:57:48] I really need to be like meal prepping more.

[00:57:51] Like there's some of these things that I had a really good handle on when we were in the

[00:57:54] RV and when we moved into the house, I just have not been able to get into a good routine

[00:57:58] on it.

[00:57:59] And especially because I'm trying to fit other things like getting Kendra to be independent.

[00:58:04] Like I'm so close to being able to not have to participate in making sure that someone else's

[00:58:11] like things happen at a certain time.

[00:58:13] Like I've always had to have, I can just focus on myself.

[00:58:16] And I'm really excited about being at that place, which should happen.

[00:58:22] You know, we're just, we're trying to launch this child.

[00:58:25] And, um, and so we're really close to that happening and I'm just, I'm way too eager for

[00:58:31] it.

[00:58:32] And so there's like an impatience that I have, um, when it like surrounds that sort of thing.

[00:58:37] Um, and so I'm just ready to have that in the interim, just kind of like almost exhausted,

[00:58:43] just doing the minutiae of what life has been like for a long time.

[00:58:48] So I'm, I'm really hoping that after graduation happens next year, I've kind of like given up

[00:58:53] on the idea of trying to fit all that stuff in until after graduation happens, or at least

[00:58:58] until Kendra can drive herself like to and from school.

[00:59:00] Like I'm really, I have very kindly tried to tell her, like, I am really sick.

[00:59:05] I need you to really focus on getting driving done because I am really sick of driving to

[00:59:11] getting up and having to go to school just to drive home.

[00:59:15] Cause it's like an hour of my day driving back and forth to ensure she can drive and get

[00:59:19] that drive time in every day.

[00:59:20] And so, and it just really kicks my morning off in a really ratchet way where I am having

[00:59:26] to like run home and then run back and it messes up breakfast and I can't go walking and I can't

[00:59:31] do all these little morning things.

[00:59:32] So then I just am like slugging up to my desk.

[00:59:35] Like I still have my coffee on my desk right now that is like half finished.

[00:59:40] And I'm just like starting my day at this pace that I'm ready to slow down even more on

[00:59:44] so that I have a lot more control of that time.

[00:59:47] And I had it over the summer and I really like got a taste of it and enjoyed it.

[00:59:51] And so I'm like, okay, like we're going to get there.

[00:59:54] We're going to get there, but I'm just not quite there yet.

[00:59:57] And so a little bit of this like angsty feeling like that, I don't know.

[01:00:04] The possibility is close.

[01:00:06] Yes.

[01:00:07] And so, so yeah, I mean, and then I think too, like anybody that has had kids, like not

[01:00:13] having the demand of a child's school schedule is probably the thing that I'm the most excited

[01:00:18] about.

[01:00:19] Um, I just really am tired of having to plan stuff around, uh, the school schedule.

[01:00:26] And I was like, I am going to have so much free time because we have worked so hard to

[01:00:32] have a lifestyle that is not tied to being in one place.

[01:00:36] And for, although I'm loving living in one place, I love my house.

[01:00:40] I love a lot of aspects of this.

[01:00:43] I'm also just like, what if I just want to go do a thing and I can't go do it thing?

[01:00:50] It is.

[01:00:51] Yeah.

[01:00:51] I mean, it's interesting because, um, with the change in job for me and the ability to

[01:00:56] work remotely, the only thing that's keeping me is Blake is just not like physically able

[01:01:02] to do it.

[01:01:02] So, so there's a limitation there.

[01:01:04] And so, so I get it in a weird, but it's like a weird different way because it's like,

[01:01:09] but it's the same.

[01:01:10] It's because he's, you know, crossed the rainbow bridge.

[01:01:14] And so it's, it's such a different, you know, kind of math.

[01:01:17] Cause the two little ones like actually did really well when I traveled with them.

[01:01:21] And so I think that we'll be able to, to do, and also two little dogs under 30 pounds is

[01:01:26] a whole lot easier because you can get hotel rooms and it's not a big deal versus like

[01:01:31] having three dogs and one is, you know, 60 pounds and blah, blah, blah.

[01:01:36] But one of the decisions that Kelsey and I made just like recently is that we really do not

[01:01:41] want to start anything that is gonna like, we don't want to get a dog.

[01:01:46] We were going to give ourselves two years was like an agreement that we made recently.

[01:01:49] We're going to give ourselves two years before we decide on getting another animal.

[01:01:54] Cause if you guys missed it somehow, Franny passed away in August of 2023.

[01:02:00] And, um, we've had all this stuff this year with Kelsey's heart.

[01:02:03] I don't know, maybe I'll leave that for another update, but, um, we just had all this stuff.

[01:02:08] That's just really made us have to think about what our future life looks like in a very different

[01:02:13] way.

[01:02:14] And so, you know, I hope to, I'm excited actually like to, that's part of like the

[01:02:19] excitement of having this podcast and the platform and just being able to like do an episode and drop

[01:02:24] it and then walk away from it is like being able to be like, Oh my God, like this whole thing is

[01:02:28] happening and, you know, and just move through it.

[01:02:31] And so it's, um, so yeah, there's just a lot of stuff that's happened this year that I'm,

[01:02:38] I have to admit, I'm relieved that we did not have the podcast, like time commitment,

[01:02:41] but now that I'm seeing like the space that I have to do some of these things, I'm like,

[01:02:46] Ooh, like let's sprinkle this back into our life.

[01:02:49] Well, and I think it, you know, cause I agree.

[01:02:51] I think that the last year has been a little bit hectic.

[01:02:56] There's been a few things going on.

[01:02:59] Um, but I do feel like the podcast for me helps frame different parts of my creativity

[01:03:09] and gives me, um, like an outlet to talk about that and ideas from other people and the community

[01:03:17] that comes with it.

[01:03:18] And so I, I'm really excited just, I mean, I think you and I just getting to connect because

[01:03:24] I miss that, um, because I feel like we were able to really connect in January.

[01:03:29] We haven't really had as much time to connect since then.

[01:03:32] Not really.

[01:03:34] Um, and, and I love having an, like a reason on top of having a planner, but the reason of

[01:03:43] like, here's what I'm doing in it.

[01:03:46] Here's some ideas.

[01:03:47] Like, what do you think?

[01:03:48] And getting some of this back.

[01:03:49] And, and, and because I feel like I don't always have the solo motivation on my own.

[01:03:56] Yeah.

[01:03:56] Right.

[01:03:56] It's like, I need a level of external, um, involvement because I love doing it, but what

[01:04:07] made it so much fun is that it was a community and that it was creative and like, I could learn

[01:04:12] from other people.

[01:04:13] And so I'm just excited for us to get back to that.

[01:04:16] I'm excited.

[01:04:17] I'm excited that I have the new planner.

[01:04:19] And the funniest thing is, is like, I don't think anybody will even believe it, but Jamie

[01:04:23] and I had this conversation, um, probably the second week in November that we were ready

[01:04:28] and we wanted to start recording again, but I ordered my planner before we even had the

[01:04:33] conversation.

[01:04:34] And I wasn't, I mean, I think probably the last time we had talked, I had no intent on

[01:04:38] buying a planner.

[01:04:39] And then, um, Bess's, you know, like, uh, free black Friday sale.

[01:04:45] I can't even remember.

[01:04:45] It was probably like a week before, um, you and I talked, but when I ordered it, I was like,

[01:04:50] well, I mean, it just makes sense.

[01:04:52] You've used the planner, you know, it's useful.

[01:04:53] You know, it's like, um, simple enough for you to not get lost in the extras.

[01:04:58] Cause I feel like that's the Hobonichi has so many extras on it that I just would then

[01:05:03] try to overdo.

[01:05:04] And then the Sterling and ink, I just didn't need it at the time I got it because it was

[01:05:10] like, I was going through this big transition period throughout the year and there was no

[01:05:16] clear need that I had versus this next upcoming year.

[01:05:20] I have some very specific projects that have specific times I have to block out, but I can't

[01:05:26] keep it in my head because I'm old.

[01:05:28] And, and it's, I want to use the tools that I've already bought.

[01:05:36] Yeah.

[01:05:37] And I have all these great stickers and I'm like, shit, like I want, I have a different

[01:05:42] ability now to use my planner because I don't have the restrictions of my last work.

[01:05:48] Yeah.

[01:05:49] Preventing me from actually like putting shit in my planner like it did before.

[01:05:53] So now I can have a planner with everything in one place.

[01:05:57] And so I'm excited.

[01:05:58] I'm excited to explore that.

[01:05:59] I'm excited for this to be back.

[01:06:01] So, you know, as we wrap up Jamie, uh, I, I'm excited for what we're going to do next.

[01:06:09] And I, you know, we'll see how many episodes we do, but I think getting to spend time with

[01:06:13] you, getting to have this tool.

[01:06:16] I'm really excited for us to do this.

[01:06:18] Yeah.

[01:06:18] Be podcasting on some other tool.

[01:06:21] Casually podcasting and keeping up with each other.

[01:06:25] Yeah.

[01:06:26] And I mean, I think that, um, I've kept up, I I've kept up with the planning somewhat.

[01:06:32] Um, you know, I think I've done a little bit more of it.

[01:06:36] I, your planner brain never turns off.

[01:06:39] I think that that's the biggest thing is that like your planner brain never turns off.

[01:06:43] And the community aspect of it, when I was at that planner event in Austin, and I was

[01:06:48] trying to explain to some of the people, what the planner that have joined the planner

[01:06:52] community since 2018 and even more recently in, you know, since 2021, 2022.

[01:06:57] And I was just like, I, it was, this is really something special.

[01:07:03] And I don't think that a lot of people have what we have, like our friendship and the friendships

[01:07:09] that I've formed.

[01:07:10] And so maybe, maybe this is something that we can help show people still exists in, like

[01:07:19] in planner world.

[01:07:20] Yeah.

[01:07:21] And it doesn't, it doesn't have to be this intense, perfect insane nonsense that happens

[01:07:29] that I see, you know, that I think exists in the internet, but I don't know if it does

[01:07:34] because I really have weeded so much of that out.

[01:07:37] Well, and I feel like it was like such a, um, like when we got involved in the planner

[01:07:43] community, it was such a specific time of both of our lives.

[01:07:47] And, and we're almost, I mean, like we're almost closing in on a decade, right?

[01:07:53] Because I mean, really it was like 2016, 2017.

[01:07:57] Yeah.

[01:07:57] Yeah.

[01:07:59] And so, I mean, it's, our lives have dramatically shifted.

[01:08:04] I mean, we hit, like I have hit full on, um, cliche midlife crisis.

[01:08:11] Like it is fascinating.

[01:08:15] Well, and I think, you know, we, one of the last episodes that we did was like his planner

[01:08:19] world dead.

[01:08:20] And I think for a lot of people it is, and I think that definitely the popularity in

[01:08:24] it has peaked.

[01:08:25] I mean, I saw that in Aaron Contran and I think that there's still people, there's still plenty

[01:08:30] of people that are making it happen.

[01:08:31] There's still huge people with huge followings.

[01:08:33] It surprises me how I get on the internet and people will be like, have you ever heard about

[01:08:37] this person?

[01:08:37] And I'm like, no.

[01:08:38] And you go and look and there's like a hundred thousand people following them and they're

[01:08:42] just doing planner content.

[01:08:43] And I'm like, I'm just in such a little corner of my world.

[01:08:47] And we always kind of have been, and so I like our little corner of the internet that

[01:08:51] feels like very lo-fi beats, very coastal grandma, like very chill.

[01:08:56] Coastal grandma for sure.

[01:08:57] No.

[01:08:58] And we're just like existing with the people that we've made friends with.

[01:09:02] And there's so many people that we're still friends with and that we talked to and that

[01:09:08] I text with, I mean, like I, Sandra with the sassy club, she was over at my house, like

[01:09:14] a couple of weeks back.

[01:09:14] And like, I zoomed with Mary Beth this week and I sent a crazy Zilla listing to Kristen

[01:09:20] Pickett.

[01:09:21] Yeah.

[01:09:22] When I was in Florida, I visited with Layla, who is still a very active planner and we met

[01:09:27] her podcast.

[01:09:29] And so, yeah, I mean, it's funny because I was actually, I was working from a coffee

[01:09:33] shop a couple of weeks ago and this woman asked me to like watch her stuff while she went

[01:09:38] to the bathroom.

[01:09:39] And I was like, oh, is that a Hobonichi?

[01:09:41] And she was using a Hobonichi techno.

[01:09:45] But, and she's like, oh yeah, it is.

[01:09:47] And I was like, oh, nice.

[01:09:49] But she didn't have stickers.

[01:09:50] So I didn't bother talking to her.

[01:09:54] Yeah.

[01:09:54] And I mean, when I was at that planner event in Austin, I think I saw like six people that

[01:09:59] used to come to plantation that were just like, oh, it was still like, just so one of my favorite

[01:10:05] events.

[01:10:05] And it was just such a nice little pocket in time.

[01:10:07] And I look back on all of this stuff really fondly, but I think I still am in a place that I want

[01:10:13] to make new memories just at a different pace.

[01:10:16] Yeah.

[01:10:17] Yeah.

[01:10:17] And I feel like it's, we've just hit, yeah, our coastal grandma portion of life.

[01:10:24] That's it.

[01:10:26] We're coastal nanas.

[01:10:28] Let's do it.

[01:10:31] Should we rename the podcast coastal grandma?

[01:10:34] Uh, wait, coastal grandma, pretty pink Pilates or something.

[01:10:44] Listen, if we're listening to Sabrina Carpenter in Chapel Rowan, we still haven't lost it.

[01:10:49] Exactly.

[01:10:50] When I am blasting taste in my car and I'm like thinking about all the people, I'm like, yes.

[01:10:56] Yeah.

[01:10:57] Yes.

[01:10:58] I know it's not over yet because I did the hot to go dance in front of Kelsey naked like

[01:11:03] last week.

[01:11:05] You still got it, girl.

[01:11:06] He was like, what is this song?

[01:11:08] And I'm all, it has a dance.

[01:11:13] Come on.

[01:11:17] Got it.

[01:11:18] We still got it.

[01:11:20] Oh, I mean, it's questionable, but we're really fun now.

[01:11:24] Um, and we were always really fun, but now we're really fun.

[01:11:27] And I get to go to bed because it's an hour till my bedtime.

[01:11:31] So I start winding down, Jamie.

[01:11:33] You better go with that.

[01:11:35] Jamie.

[01:11:37] Is there anything else you'd like to say before I close this out tonight?

[01:11:41] No, just, I'm very glad to visit with you.

[01:11:43] You too.

[01:11:44] I missed you.

[01:11:46] I'm excited that we're back in whatever capacity we want to be.

[01:11:50] And with that, keep planning.

[01:11:53] Stay awesome.

[01:11:55] Adios.

[01:11:56] Bichachos.

[01:11:57] Bichachos.

[01:11:57] Ooh, the old, you're going to stick with the old school.

[01:12:00] Oh my God.

[01:12:01] Look, we may be old, but it's not too old for that.

[01:12:06] I love it.

[01:12:08] Or something.

[01:12:11] Bye.

[01:12:11] Bye.

[01:12:13] Thanks for listening to the Planner Girl Chatter podcast.

[01:12:16] Subscribe to our channel so you don't miss a thing.

[01:12:19] Until next time, happy planning.
